  • Wash with Unscented soap, no creams or fragrances.
  • Apply aftercare cream as directed.
  • Pat dry and do not pick the scabbing, this may result in colour loss
  • Avoid spicy foods and hot drinks for up to 48hrs
  • Avoid kissing or other intimate contact until lips are healed
  • Avoid Gyms, saunas, swimming, sun exposure 7-10 days. Light exercise may be okay after 3-4 days
But most importantly …… be patient and don’t pick! your colour will bloom around day 21-30 x
Healing expectations for Lips
  • Day 1-2 Bright colour, swelling, feeling tight and bruised
  • Day 3-4 Dry, cracked and some peeling may have started
  • Day 5-7 extremely dry, peeling and very sensitive, do not pick at area
  • Day 8-10 very dry and much lighter in colour
  • Day 14-21 colour now settling
  • Don’t forget your post consultation between days 25-30 with Rachel (free of charge)

  • Wash with unscented soap, No creams or fragrances
  • Apply aftercare cream as directed
  • Pat dry and do not pick the scabbing, this may result in colour loss
  • Avoid applying makeup and facial creams in this area
  • Avoid Gyms, saunas, swimming, sun exposure 7-10 days. Light exercise after 3-4 days

  • Day 1-5 Dark in colour, slight dryness and itching
  • Day 6-10 slight change in colour now lighter, scabbing and flaking. do not pick, peel or rub
  • Day 10-21 brows now much lighter and scabbing should have disappeared, colour will return and settle into desired colour.
